The vetting bar
Every crew member clears each of these before their first paid booking. No exceptions, no “trial runs” on real customer homes.
Criminal record check (vulnerable sector for cleaners going into private homes). Verified and re-run yearly.
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System certification, required for anyone handling commercial cleaning chemicals. Renewed every 3 years.
Every visit is covered by Zulma's $5M Commercial General Liability policy. Each contractor also carries their own $2M CGL on file, and cleaners working alone in homes are bonded.
Two prior employers or clients we actually call, not boilerplate forms. The point isn't credentials, it's whether someone is reliable and respectful in someone's home.
Their first booking is shadowed by a senior crew member. They don't take their own jobs until they pass.
Crew need to maintain 4.7★ minimum across their last 20 jobs. Below that and they're paused for retraining or removed.
